Swire is the C. William O’Neill Professor of Law at the Moritz College of Law of the Ohio State University.

Since leaving government, Swire has taught courses including the following: Privacy Law; the Law of Cyberspace; Antitrust Law; Regulatory Theory and Policy: Cybersecurity; The Ethics of Washington Lawyering; Torts; Business Associations; and the externship seminar for the Washington, D.C. Program.  Previously, Swire also has taught courses including: Banking Regulation; Legislation; Environmental Law; the Law of Toxic Substances; and Regulation in the Information Age.
